Stand at 5,364 metres — face to face with the world's highest mountain. A 14-day journey through the legendary Khumbu Valley that changes you forever.

The Everest Base Camp Trek is not simply a hike — it is a pilgrimage to the roof of the world. Beginning in Kathmandu and flying into the legendary Tenzing-Hillary Airport at Lukla, the trail weaves through Sherpa culture, ancient monasteries, rhododendron forests, and dramatic high-altitude terrain before arriving at the foot of Mount Everest at 5,364 metres.
Along the way, iconic waypoints — Namche Bazaar, Tengboche Monastery, Dingboche, Lobuche, and finally Gorak Shep — each offer their own rewards. An optional early-morning hike to Kala Patthar (5,545m) delivers what many trekkers call the finest sunrise view on Earth: Everest in full golden light.
Experienced, English-speaking trekking guides with deep knowledge of the route, culture, and safety protocols throughout.
Authentic mountain teahouses along the trail — the traditional way to trek Nepal, with warmth, local flavour, and cosy beds.
Sagarmatha National Park entry permit and TIMS card are fully included — we handle all documentation before you depart.
A carefully paced 14-day journey designed for maximum acclimatization, safety, and unforgettable experiences at every stage.
Fly from Delhi to Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu. Transfer to hotel. Trek briefing session with your guide. Evening at leisure to explore the vibrant Thamel district and prepare gear for the trail ahead.
A short but thrilling mountain flight to Lukla's Tenzing-Hillary Airport — one of the world's most dramatic airstrips. Begin trekking through the Dudh Koshi Valley alongside rushing rivers and pine forests. Overnight in Phakding village.
A rewarding climb through Sagarmatha National Park entry point. Cross the famous Hillary Suspension Bridge high above the Dudh Koshi River. First views of Everest appear as you approach Namche — the thriving hub of the Khumbu region.
A vital rest day in Namche for the body to adjust to altitude. Optional hike to the Everest View Hotel (3,880m) for panoramic views of Ama Dablam, Lhotse, and Everest. Explore Namche's colourful Saturday market, bakeries, and local culture.
Trek through the high Khumbu plateau past Khumjung and Khunde villages. Arrive at the majestic Tengboche Monastery — the region's most revered spiritual site — with Everest rising dramatically behind it. Join the evening puja if timing permits.
Descend through juniper and rhododendron forest to the Imja Khola river valley before climbing to the high-altitude settlement of Dingboche. Spectacular views of Ama Dablam, Makalu, and Lhotse on clear days. Rest and acclimatise overnight.
Rest day at Dingboche. Optional hike toward Nagarjun Hill (5,100m) for sweeping Himalayan panoramas. Allow your body to adapt before entering the highest-altitude section of the trek. Hydration and rest are key.
Trek past the poignant Thukla memorial stones — a collection of cairns honouring fallen Everest climbers from around the world. Arrive at Lobuche with close-up views of the Khumbu Glacier. The landscape becomes increasingly dramatic and raw.
The defining day of the entire expedition. Reach Gorak Shep, the last settlement before base camp. Hike onward to Everest Base Camp — walk on the living Khumbu Glacier and stand at 5,364 metres beneath the world's tallest mountain. An incomparable moment. Return to Gorak Shep for overnight rest.
Wake before dawn and ascend Kala Patthar for the most celebrated sunrise view in Nepal — Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, and Pumori bathed in golden morning light. Descend through Lobuche to Pheriche for well-earned rest and celebration.
Begin the return journey through Tengboche and the lower Khumbu trail. The descent reveals the valleys from a new perspective. Spend one night in Namche for a final celebration dinner with your guide and porter team.
Final trekking day — retrace the trail through Phakding and back to Lukla. The lower altitude brings warmth and green surroundings. Last evening in the mountains with your trekking crew. Overnight in Lukla.
Morning flight from Lukla to Kathmandu. Afternoon at leisure for shopping, sightseeing, and rest. Evening or overnight flight from Kathmandu back to Delhi. Return home with stories, memories, and the proud knowledge that you stood at Everest Base Camp.
